(Japan, Audio Visual Effects Showcase)

Adrian Steckeweh (@omega.c) has a warped sense of reality. The German architect, who lives in Japan, spends his downtime creating AR camera effects that play with materials and our imagination. “People assume the tentacles in my filter are flexible. But do they feel hard and dry like rubber or are they soft and slimy like jellyfish? Everybody has their own answer depending on their unique experiences,” says Adrian. “I enjoy seeing people moving their head around, ‘feeling’ my filters and unwillingly creating the characteristics of those virtual materials in their mind.”
