HHY & The Kampala Unit is a collaboration between HHY's famed musician Jonathan Saldanha and some of Uganda's most impressive musicians, including trumpeter and youth activist Florence Lugemwa. Together, they make hybrid, ultra-percussive dance music that ties together their country's strains of regional music into one futuristic whole, and have a debut album called Lithium Blast due out on Nyege Nyege Tapes later this year.
