REWIND: Black Hole Experience in Times Square.
On the first weekend of August Refraction had an amazing experience co-creating and celebrating the New York premiere of Black Hole Experience in Times Square.
Audiences were captivated by a one-of-a-kind, multi-sensory mobile art installation that transported them into a black hole through immersive projection mapping.
The Black Hole Experience invites guests to walk through an immersive exhibit and sit in an antechamber where they are enveloped by projection mapping, creating the sensation of moving through a black hole.
This artistic concept is presented by non-profit environmental alliance Age of Union and was conceived by CEO, global environmentalist, and Emmy award-winning executive producer Dax Dasilva, along with installation artist Kelly Nunes.
Dax’s vision is for participants to awaken their sense of curiosity and leave feeling more connected to humanity, the environment, and the cosmos.
