Refraction and Friends With Benefits are kindred spirits, both at the vanguard of what decentralization can do for arts and culture. This energy was palpable on March 24 when the two DAOs came together at New York's Public Records for a night of some of the most vibrant dance music both old and new. The don of house music past, present, and future, Ron Trent, took over headline duties for the night and his work felt like the perfect way to round out what had been a gentle coasting through some of the most talented up-and-comers including Brooklyn's own JADALAREIGN and upstart sspurgee. The lineup was rounded out by Cosmo, Love Injection, Toribio, Shawn Dub, and KFeelz, with a visual installation by Brazil artist and Refraction founding artist member p1xelf00l.
